In order for you to form an accurate opinion about the complexity of the implementations and the results of the projects run by Ascent Soft, especially the benefits perceived by the management and the other users, in the following lines we introduce some solutions provided by Ascent-Soft to the problems expressed by some customer organizations in the period 2009-2010.
TIME FOR A NEW ATTITUDE
Following the belief that an IT services provider can only be part of the solution, we always begin by the analysis of the problem, which generates the necessary measures for the implementation of the change solution. The decision making is one of the main functions of the management and the necessary premise of a correct decision is that correct information reaches the management in good time. Our software systems are oriented towards providing correct information at the right time (which is whenever you need it).
A CUSTOMER’S PROBLEM
The manager of Grosvenor Electronics expressed his problem in the following way: “the control
and administration of the orders, including the stocks, so that our customers’ orders are satisfied as quickly as possible, by reducing the delivery time and taking into consideration the optimum administration of the stocks’ size”.
SOLUTION
By the implementation of Ascent ERP with the modules Ascent IS-the inventory solution, Ascent DIS - the distribution solution and Ascent SCM-the module for the administration of the orders and the other supplying processes.
CURRENT SITUATION
“Following the implementation of the Ascent ERP solutions, our processes run fluently. Our
customers’ orders are administrated effectively, we manage to centralize the supply needs so that the orders are satisfied effectively, with limited human resources. The system tells us what to order, when to order and informs us that certain parameters are being modified when new supply orders are generated, which helps us always have the merchandise prepared for the customer, taking into consideration the history of his orders, thus reducing to a minimum the unsatisfying stocks.
The continuous exchange of information and know-how and the close collaboration with the Ascent Soft team helped us shape the processes at the optimum level for our company and reach the targeted operational efficiency for 2009.
