This module enables the management and the planning of the stocks´ or raw materials´ incoming flow. The specific operations are made through < Supplier Automatic Order >, engine that allows the generation of supply orders depending on several dynamic or preset parameters. Thus, the supply automatic orders can be generated by a minimum stocks situation. Another method for the generation of automatic orders used in retail sales depends on the sales in a previous period of time (for example the past two weeks). The orders are generated automatically, by selecting as a supplier the partner which will get the order (in the case of items with alternative suppliers, the partner can be selected from a list of approved suppliers, possibly rated according to a multicriteria evaluation). The selected partner is defined as the main supplier for the respective item.
It is also possible to calculate the quantities of economical order, as well as the service level indicator (the orders’ fulfillment level from the stocks). For unique orders, there is the possibility of using a supply engine that is correlated directly to the orders that come from the customer. This is an engine for special orders that will not influence the calculation of the economical stocks because it will generate “one to one” orders where the fulfillment level is determined especially by the delivery time.
If there is an interconnection with the management module of the warehouse, the supply orders can be generated by the use of mobile barcode reading terminals, which use the application “AscentMobileBrowser” dedicated to mobile devices. This application allows the review of the local or regional stocks by the simple scanning of the products barcode, as well as the issuing of the supply order according to the minimum order option.
